"Everything is about sex... except sex"

Words like sword fights, touches like teasing, anger and hatred as furious as passions - every interaction is a battle, every battle an effort towards seduction. Everything is about sex, in the end. And in the end, beyond the simplicity, sex is about everything. The Bangles are love, sex, and everything more. Sex can be a boon, a tithe, a reward, a bribe. Sex can be a well laid trap, a planned and plotted scheme. To share the naked company of a Bangle could be a sentence, a night in heaven, or an important business transaction.

..Except for sex, which could mean anything.

The Bangles are liquid gold and pleasure. They don't hide their membership, but neither are they flamboyant. Those who know their symbols can easily discern a Bangle from the crowd. Their service and actions necessitate popularity. The Bangles are known for community involvement - planning large school events, alumni reunions, and service projects in surrounding Umarok. At night they perform a different sort of service, and though significantly less public these darker sides are readily available to those with the funds.

The Bangles' greatest enemies are lovers scorned and the homophobic section of Umarok. As far as other Faculties, the Bangles have managed to stay relatively neutral, as they rarely infringe on the territory of other Faculties. Due to the diversity of the Bangles' members, they have notable ties to the other Faculties.

The Bangles have a small set of symbols identifying them. The first is their namesake. Each Bangle has, appropriately, a bangle of gold somewhere on their body. Most keep the Bangle around their wrist, some around their upper arm, and a rare few around the neck. Gold and cream are their color schematic, though many of their members use the gold as an accent and create their own identifying spectrums

Roses are also used as a symbol of the Bangles' darker services. A rose is given to each client at the beginning of a session. Depending on the Bangle, the rose's color will change.

Service. The Bangles are united by a strong sense of loyalty - not only to one another, but to the idea of continuous advancement and betterment. Making clients happy - providing them with genuine pleasure - is the foundation of the club more than any desire for shining records or monetary reward. If they can help, if they can make something better, then they have succeeded. While this applies to the hosting and escorting, it is most relevant to their devotion to Alliance - both in academics, tutoring, planning, and leadership. If it weren't for the provision of pleasure, they might even be considered the goodie-goodies.

The Kennel, 29 Crestwater street, sits at the top of Umarok's sloped landscape. A small four story apartment building, the Kennel provides safe housing for the Bangles' nightly obligations. With rooms enough for all its members, the Kennel is an outstanding display of the Bangles' affluence and accomplishments. It started as a community service project the first year the Bangles formed, and once refurbished was purchased for their home base.

The Bangles were founded three years ago by Baron Korhonen. Originally, the Bangles were intended as a purely academic function, a group of the highest ranking scholars with a diversity of interests. The escorting came around as a mutual interest of the members, a means of earning money to finance their generosity. Starting with just Baron Korhonen and his room mate, Gyn Logan, the group swiftly expanded to encompass Mars Canfora, a Mutt with a kind heart but a vicious addiction to kink and fetish, and David Belling, a Bitch whose hippie mentality enabled him to take anyone, anytime, and do anything.

Over the next three years the Bangles established themselves by hosting dances, charity events, fundraisers, social outings, and a few choice parties. Baron heads the school council, if Alliance's awkward executive body could be considered as such. Their business as escorts has grown exponentially since its origins. Most weekends are spent working for the Bangles, and if the appearance of the Kennel is any testament to their wealth, the business is certainly successful.

Former puppy Chinami Ijima has followed in his lover's footsteps and taken the leader's seat. Compassionate and understanding, Chinami makes a very personable leader who is always ready to listen to his Bangles' problems. While looking far younger than his years, he has a depth and maturity behind his eyes that has only recently surfaced within the past year.

Chinami's talent is anything and everything to do with science. He has often said that his life's dream is to become a doctor, and with a natural talent in the field, he is well on his way to making his wish a reality.

Baron Korhonen is the figurehead of the Bangles, always dressed in light creams with a shining golden scarf. He is an eccentric speaker, though one who communicates largely with his hands instead of his expressions. Seeing any emotion on his face, aside from a smirk, is a rarity. Body language is much more revealing, but even then showing only what he wants.

Baron excels in the realms of business and management, and has a penchant for history. More than anything he cares about the safety, health, and welfare of his Bangles, and his a passionate and loving leader beneath the cool and impassive countenance he often displays.

In the Bangles' propensity as escorts and hosts, they use the metaphor of Dogs. Each member of the Bangles tends to fit into one of the following categories. That's not to say that they are limited to these and these alone.

• The Companion The Companion dog is a master of conversation and words, of the art of wooing and seducing. Where the previous dogs might focus more on the physicality of the art, Gyn focuses on the mental and emotional. Gyn is the only member of the original Dogs remaining, and Baron's best friend.
  
• The Mutt This is perhaps the most notorious of dogs. The Metal Mutt is the keeper of extremes - the one who takes and gives pain, the one who bites and barks, roughs and tumbles. The Metal Mutt is certainly the darkest of the troupe, enabling clients to express their kinks and fetishes.
  
• The Puppy This position is intended to incite those with rather more illicit intentions - those who are allured by the promise of untouched beauty, naive youth, and innocent virginity. Puppies always look younger than their years, and sometimes have the innocence to match, though it's not required.
  
• The Bitch The bitch will take anyone, anything, and in the end just wants more. The original bitch had an attitude to match the title, but Z, the current bitch, is one of the happiest people you can know in the academy. Raised in a loving, supportive family, Z has grown to be a wonderful boy. He's young, only a sophomore, but quite talented. That, and he genuinely loves sex. Z has been the subject of orgies, experiments, and any manner of exploration with other students. He's also hyper feminine, and despite not being the puppy surprisingly youthful in his enthusiasm.
  

The Bangles rarely recruit, though their leader will root out specific persons if they show signs of potential. Currently, they are hard pressed to fill the slot of the Mutt.
